On October 6, 2011, FKMS was recognized for its ongoing community work at the Workplace Project’s 19th Anniversary Gala.  The Workplace Project, based in Hempstead, supports immigrant workers through education, leadership training and community organizing.

FKMS partnered with the Workplace Project to organize a backpack drive, collecting school supplies for local disadvantaged students. The firm also coordinated with the Workplace Project to provide free flu vaccines to over 200 day laborers as risk of illness. FKMS has further demonstrated its commitment to Long Island’s immigrant worker population with frequent distributions of water bottles to prevent dehydration.
