On Halloween 2012, William Ferro and the staff of FKMS’ Jackson Heights office gathered in the wake of Hurricane Sandy to distribute water bottles full of candy and treats to neighborhood trick-or-treaters. The community was having such a good time that three trips had to be made to the local convenience store to replenish the candy supplies! Over 1,200 bottles were passed out. “It was great to see smiling faces after all the sadness of the past few days,” remarked Mr. Ferro.
